“I don’t know what to do?”

Sitting across from me by his hospital bed “Eric” explained the tough decision he faced. Eric continued, “If I don’t have the surgery, I will die. But if I have the surgery, I’m not sure I will enjoy the quality of my life. I am ready to die, but my family wants me to live.”

What do you do when you don’t know what to do? Where do you start when making a life altering decision?

A wise man once wrote,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6 NKJV

The good news? We don’t have to navigate any decision alone. The God who created this universe and you, cares enough for you that He wants to help you. Trust Him. We can seek God’s wisdom through prayer, and rest assured, we will know what to do.
